Do I need a Doctor/Provider’s order for my MRI?

Yes, a doctor’s order is necessary to ensure you’re receiving the correct MRI. Some locations may have a resident physician which may handle non-contrast MRIs. You can contact your primary care provider or visit an urgent care to get an order, as appropriate.

Do you accept Medicare, Medicaid, or other assistance programs?

Yes, appointments can be canceled or rescheduled within 48 hours. However, cancellations/reschedule requests within 48 hours may incur a $100 fee.

Can I submit my MRI to insurance?

SimpleMRI is a voluntary cash-pay service. If you submit the MRI to insurance later, you may incur additional charges from both the insurance provider and the imaging facility.

While you select your preferred date and time during booking, the facility will confirm the appointment time, usually within 24 hours.

Do I get a reading of my MRI?

Yes, a reading of your exam is provided by the center's certified radiologist typically 24-48 working hours after the exam.

Do I get a disk of my MRI?

A disk can be requested directly with the facility the day of your scan, there may be a nominal charge for the disk. Please let the front desk know the day of your visit.

Will I be able see the images in the disk?

Typically no. A special software is required to read the files in the disk. Your provider may have the necessary software.
